Book Sale

Organized and implemented a book sale for Eagle Elementary, Bethlehem, N.Y. The book sale sold used books that were donated by the community. Students in a 2nd grade and 5th grade class priced, organized and sold the donated books, and parent volunteers helped the students sell the books. The proceeds were donated to the Bethlehem Festival Fund, and extra books were donated.

Tutored in Literacy through SUNY Albany’s Literacy program. Observed and participated in a tutoring program with SUNY Geneseo’s Saturday Program. Completed observation hours for SUNY Geneseo’s School of Education at Columbia High School in East Greenbush, N.Y. Also, volunteered at the Elementary level for Bethlehem Central School District.
