At present I am working with Qatar Shell GTL PROJECT. AT RAS LAFFAN DOHA QATAR, Here my role is dealing with contactor, and Asset Delivery Team (ADT), coordinated with vender and contractor Loop checking Asset handover check list, Punch List attending punch walk down, Ensure that quality control is carried out during the installation phase. Supervise and witness Megger Tests and Continuity checks for all cables. Supervise and witness tubing loop checks and leak tests. Monitor the contractor’s efforts to verify that instrument material and equipment supplied meet the project specification.

Pre-commissioning with Chiyoda- Hyundai commissioning team in feed gas processing Plant .etc. from Oct 2010 to till dated.

Recently I was work with Ras Gas LNG shutdown in train 1 & 2, 5 and 6, Duties involves PRECOMMSIONING AND COMMSIONING OF safely removing instrument calibration installation, stork checking of control valves etc…

Jan 2009 to Dec 2009 working in IOCL – POLYPROPLENE PLANT IN PANIPAT WITH TECNIMONT. As a commissioning supervisor Instrument Inspector, attending construction quality problems. Duties involved ensuring loop check, calibration, and functional test are complete as schedule during commissioning phase of project.

Coordinating with instrument construction supervisor to execute work as per plan.

Preparation of punch and clearing punch with sub-contractors. Working in shifts for startup and corrective maintenance activities.

To carry out corrective, preventive, maintains and repair of various types of instrumentation in the entire plant which includes the regular monitoring and rectification of defective instrument equipments. Recently I involve in Iran south pars oil and gas (phase 9 &10) train 2 constriction precommissioning activity and commissioning of field instrument like hookup, loop checking, tray work, Tubing,Material controlling etc. with G S ENGG. Iran.

At Oman Propylene Sohar Project (OPP-working with G.S. Engg) I was responsible for Supervise and witness tubing loop checks and leak tests. 2 inch s to 1/8 tubing installation support fabrication jobs as per isometric drawing. In OPP, I suggested modification in the Drawing which helps GS ENGG, TO REDUCE THE COST AND SAVE MATERIAL and involve precommissioning and commissioning activity.

In Sohar Aluminum Power Plant Project (Alstom) I was working as a Q.C. Inspector in inst. Dept. and witness for cable testing. And other related jobs. Supervise and witness tubing loop checks and leak tests hydro testing.I was work in Petroleum Development Oman’s Qarn Alam, Saih Nihayadha gas plant and Saih Rawl Gas and Gas fields new Wellhead area installation checking, leak testing activity. Witness as quality instrument inspector for Tubing and calibration of instrument testing calibration and supervise on contractor for commissioning of Gas Well.

At Oman Refinery I have to check calibrate Pr. Flow transmitter gauges and control valves stroke checking and vibration instrument. Modifications of new control valve level trill.

Worked in M/S. Reliance Industries Ltd. At their Patalganga plant as an instrument technician since 1988 in Paraxylene Plant. Here I am involves primary the smooth running of the plant. Since I independently hand the shift. Report making and co-ordination with the depts. Also comes within duty.

Working with Reliance, I have come across various types of instrument device by Pneumatic and Electronic media assigned for measuring all types of parameters required for the refinery as well as petrochemical complex. I have come across various types of safety analytical instrument, safety switches, gauges valves transducers transmitters, controllers for their maintenance and calibration point of view. I am conversant with loop diagrams, ladder diagrams industries safety symbols, fire extinguishers and safety aspects of the Plants. Etc.

Recently in Reliance I involves in the commissioning of ABB ADVENT DCS system in the plant. Well versed with various features like graphics building Environment building loop level compilations & other engineering tasks.

My career in ‘Reliance added more to my experience had worked in Paraxylence (PX) Plant. I got good experience in maintaining the Plant. We have instrument and components made by Taylor, Masoneiles, Fisher, and Rosemount etc. I have also work’s on Bentley Nevada Vibration (USA) instrument and on line Oxygen & Hydrogen Analyzers. Here I was working in Hydrogen Plant. My main duty was to attend the preventive maintenances jobs. They’re again all process controls instrument, instruments used to calibrate the controller’s, TX.
