They specialise in the production and sales of hydraulic equipment for specific applications including, but not limited to, high pressure systems (up to 1500 Bar), controls on wind turbines and solar trackers, proportional controls and flame proof systems for offshore and mining applications. I was hired to develop the company into a profitable organisation in as short a time as possible. This was achieved in the second full year of operation with a growth of close to a 1000% in the 2009 financial year and a further growth of close to 180% in the 2010 financial year.

I also implemented pricing strategies against competitors and ensured that we were market competitive. This included the development of new products and the introduction of said products into the market place.

I reviewed the performance of existing product sales by territory/region and customer as appropriate and applied changes in the marketing plans to remedy non-achievement of sales plan. Reporting of sales trends and presentation of new marketing strategies and product releases to top management was a regular aspect of my role.

A further aspect of this position was the provision of technical opinions and systems solutions to customers both internally and externally. I managed and developed training programs for the sales staff and customers.

I had a number of staff reporting to me and I was responsible for the reviewing of their performances and the development of Performance Plans to improve performance levels.

Further to the above I was responsible for attaining and maintaining ISO 9001 accreditation for the company in Australia. In order to achieve this, various procedures and documentation had to be designed and implemented. This was a primary task for me upon joining the company.
