Role: Business Analyst

Role involved studying the existing EDS (HR and Resource management) Applications Services, ITO and BPO organization data so as to migrate the EDS data (from data warehouse) into the HP Data warehouse and reporting interfaces.

Project required shutting down the legacy EDS BI data marts and designing a robust reporting zone to incorporate data from the legacy EDS Source Systems as well as HP source systems which would replace the legacy EDS BI applications.

 Studied the existing EDS data warehouse and source systems and their data elements. Made extensive use of SQL querying and data mining to analyze the system.

 Conducted meeting/ JAD sessions with Business representatives to gather new business requirements, descriptions of the data elements, reporting requirements for HP’s proprietary reporting tool Yotta.

 Engine Business Unit (2007 – 2009)

 Successfully implemented critical projects like Part Receivable and Tracking, Reporting for Purchasing dept, Manufacturing Portal and was done in collaboration with Manufacturing, Purchasing, Warranty, EBU Quality, and Supply Chain departments.

 Worked as a lead business analyst for the part receivable project that tracked the parts from warehouse to the dealer/distributor and in case of failures from distributor/dealer to the warehouse.
