My current duties are planning, organizing, and coordinating the overall safety and environmental regulatory development for APAC/Oldcastle in the Gulf Coast. Responsibilities include implementation of the Safety, Health & Environmental Management System, internal audit and inspections of facilities, scheduling site safety team meetings, 100% training compliance in MSHA/OSHA, and 100% EPD/FDEP/ADEM compliance. I worked as a support team for front line managers, plant/quarry Managers, and senior management. Travel commitments have been over 50% of job description therefore, travel requirements are no issues.

KEY PROJECTS AND SELECTED ACCOMPLISHMENTS

- 2002- Helped oversee Macon Quarry in Macon, GA accomplish a year and a half without an injury after a year of seven consecutive months of injuries.

- 2006- Oversaw the GA Safety Division with five mines that went an entire year without an MSHA reportable injury.

- 2001 to 2008 -Serves on board for the Georgia Mining Association and Georgia Crush Stone as a representative for Rinker Materials.

- 2004- Served as a member in the safety committee who worked with MSHA on a number of mining related issues and public relations projects (Best Practices Athens, GA).

- 2005 to PRESENT- Serves as a board member of the International Society of Mine Safety Professionals.

- 2001 to PRESENT- Takes personal pride in developing a relationship with the SE District Manager for MSHA (Field Office and District).

- 2007-30 hour OSHA Certification completed.
