OP-3 provides fundraising consulting and event production services to non-profit organizations. The Event Coordinator for the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer is the front-line customer service representative responsible for recruitment, retention and ongoing training and support to Avon Walk for Breast Cancer participants. This position plans and manages all local events in Chicago including all Introduction Meetings, Expos, the Great Start Party, the Multi-City Training Day, and the Mock Walk.
•Managed the planning and implementation of all Avon Walk Chicago special events including the Great Start Party for over 500 attendees and multiple Expos for over 250 attendees
•Worked directly with numerous vendors and event locations including the Metropolitan Club at the Willis Tower and The Chicago History Museum
•Coordinated and planned over 200 introduction & informational events throughout the Chicagoland Area during the 2010 & 2011 seasons with an average of 30 attendees
•Conducted meetings in a public forum for participants interested in participating in the event and recruited attendees to register for Avon Walk Breast Cancer event
