Mr. Rynearson has many years of experience with a focus on application development and system enterprise rollouts in various industries. His primary focus has been in the area of development and architecture of Internet systems, with an emphasis on the Microsoft suite of products specializing in delivering secure integrated solutions.
Mr. Rynearson has good communication skills and can work effectively with c-level management at a conceptual level and developers at a technical level. Mr. Rynearson is a certified MCP+SB, MCSE+I, and MCSD.Net.
He has also co-authored two books on Microsoft Server products.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Large Retail - BizTalk Architect Oct 2011 to present
Mr. Rynearson responsibilities include overall BizTalk architecture, design, development and operations. BizTalk Servers and applications including Development, QA and Production Clusters and over 300 branch BizTalk Servers. He designed and implemented a variety of robust applications, utilizing a methodology that was extensible. He also created a PowerShell utility to remotely manage all branch BizTalk servers.
Health Care - BizTalk Architect Feb 2009 to present
Mr. Rynearson responsibilities included overall BizTalk architecture, design and development. He designed and implemented a variety of applications, enabling automation via the use of scripts and processes. He also implemented the ESB 2.1 solution that contained multiple itineraries and on-ramps.
The technologies implemented included BizTalk 2010, BRE, BAM, SCOM, SharePoint 2010, TFS, Search, SSIS, XML, POP3, Flat Files, EDI 835, 837, 997, 277, 824, and more.
Architected and implemented Dev/Prod environments for BizTalk, SCOM and SharePoint.
Dell Commerce Launch - (Contract) Jan 2008 to Feb 2009
Mr. Rynearson responsibilities included overall architecture, design and development for “Software Now” BizTalk/SharePoint (MOSS)/Commerce 2007 solution. He provided expertise in architecture, design, and implementation of a robust environment, utilizing a methodology that was extensible, enabled automation via the use of scripts and processes. His processes and methodology followed standard DELL’s software implementation policies and procedures.
He was also responsible for all Integration architecture and created complex EDI Integration solution utilizing xml, EDI 850, 997, 867, 846 and flat-file conversions.
Cactus Commerce - Solution Architect March 2007 to Jan 2008

Mr. Rynearson responsibilities included overall Architecture, deployment, administration and support for BizTalk/Commerce solutions. Numerous communication issues encountered and overcome.
Invacare (Contract) November 2006 to February 2007
Mr. Rynearson responsibilities included deployment, administration and support for BizTalk 2006/Commerce 2007 solution, exposing orchestrations as web services and calling various web services from BizTalk orchestrations. He translated functional specifications into logical, component-based technical designs. Mr. Rynearson implemented the software components to store and retrieve data using SQL Server 2005 and other RDBMS databases using XML technologies.
Prudential Reality (Contract) October 2005 to November 2006
As a Team Lead, Mr. Rynearson was responsible for integrating business metrics and customer contact data. Microsoft CRM provides information repeatedly in different formats in order to obtain services and pay the required royalty fees. Project also improved the customer contact management processes.
Idea Integration - VP Solutions Development May 2004 to October 2005
Mr. Rynearson was responsible for the Microsoft Solution Development practice leadership and development. He was the Technical Architect for delivery of the application and integration solutions. Mr. Rynearson performed property Inspection System utilizing BizTalk and Win Forms. He architected “POP3” and “XML Gateway” endpoints, orchestration and mapping development.
Lockheed Martin Company (Contract) October 2003 to May 2004
Mr. Rynearson was Lead Microsoft Architect for the GCSS MS Architecture enclave. Responsibilities included providing direction, designing, building, and documenting the Microsoft .Net / BizTalk 2004 /Windows 2003 Environment providing high availability, scalability and integration for over 100 applications in development and planning for the US Air Force World Wide Portal.
Avanade - Director October 2000 to October 2003

Mr. Rynearson designed and wrote the Strategy Briefing Generator (VB.NET). The application reads in any XML file and creates PowerPoint and Word Documents on the fly using data from the XML file. XPATH used to specify where to put data in document. Page grouping, filtering and 2 levels of sorting make this tool stand out.
Federal Voting Assistance Program
As a Lead Software Engineer for the SERVE (Secure Electronic Registration and Voting Experiment) online voting experiment for absentee voters. Mr. Rynearson worked with the Federal Voting Assistance program (FVAP) within the Department of Defense to develop an Internet Voting solution for the UOCAVA population, which included domestic and overseas US armed forces personnel, their dependents and overseas citizens who are away from their voting jurisdictions. Mr. Rynearson was Lead Software Engineer and BizTalk architect. SERVE won Avanade technical product of the year 2003.
Modis October 1998 to April 2000
Merrill Lynch
Mr. Rynearson engaged by Microsoft Consulting Services to ensure successful launching of Direct Markets Institutional site. Worked on production team then moved to acting production manager.
Continental Airlines
Mr. Rynearson designed and developed award winning Continental Dining Services Website. He led a team of 12 to "webatize" their previous 10,000 page manual. Mr. Rynearson created a totally automated solution that has to date won multiple awards and case studies.
CompuCom - Senior Systems Engineer 1997 to 1998
Mr. Rynearson designed and integrated Mayor City of Houston (outlook/Access Programming) and Minute Maid (Office 97 Rollout Design). He also gave numerous training classes and seminars for internal and external clients.
Bauguss Consulting - Senior Consultant 1995 to 1997
Mr. Rynearson was responsible for the Coastal Bank Exchange design and integration, Lyondell BackOffice and FACSys design and integration, Pan Am Secure Web site Design and Creation, Vinson and Elkins Proxy Server Implementation, Frito Lay FACSys design and integration, Koch FACSys design and integration, XTC SQL Server optimization, Palacios ISD BackOffice Zero Admin Kit Rollout.
U.S. Air Force - Programmer 1981 to 1995
Mr. Rynearson was responsible for the research and development of the 3400th Training Support Squadron Core Automated Maintenance System (CAMS) ICW Training Package. Over 25,000 students have received this training resulting in cost savings of over $2,000,000. The package was adopted Air Force Wide.
