As Manager of the Customer Service Department I lead a team of eight members and reported to the Vice President and owner of the company.

• Provide on site supervision to ensure that the color selection is correctly installed.

• Ensure that the house is in optimum condition and ready for the C.O. (certificate of occupancy)

• Walk- through the houses with the prospect buyer.

• Oversees the completion of the client’s punch list of the walk-through.

• Coordinate the guarantee services offer to the properties by the sub-contractors.

• Educate the new owner with the association rules.

• Assist the sales department if needed.

• Act as a Back End for the construction department on many cases.

Project Manager (2003 - 2004)

LLOYD CONSTRUCTION – Miami- USA

Payroll of 10 employees with average yearly sales of $ 3,500,000.oo

As Project Manager I was responsible of the smooth and on time delivery of the construction/remodeling work as well as making sure that the specifications and building codes where properly established in order to process the County Permits.

• Responsible for the client’s satisfaction with the job done.

• In charge of the VIP projects dealing with the clients and managing the budget.

• Oversaw special contracts that required the appropriate use of Feng Shui in building placement and design, color selection and interior distribution of space and room placement.

Director of the “Prevention and Awareness of AIDS” media program (2002 - 2003)

MINISTERIO DE SALUD Y ASISTENCIA SOCIAL DE VENEZUELA

Over 200 employees on this particular department with a year budget of $ 6,000,000.oo This was a special project where I was invited to be part of and be in charge of launching the AIDS awareness program for the country, selecting the media and managing the budget. Must of the selected campaign is still being used today.

During this time I had the great satisfaction of many turn-key private projects as well as 3 restaurants and 5 stores on the up coming area of Caracas.

• Developed projects and design concepts for a variety of clients, private and commercial, taking in consideration the intended purpose of the décor.

• Designed the exposition floor plan.

• Coordinated the installation and the running of the expositors.

Manage a staff of four and directed the sales of air time until the station was sold.

HOTEL TAMANACO INTERCONTINENTAL Caracas, Venezuela.

This is a 5 star hotel with 528 rooms, 32 suites (one presidential), 4 restaurants, 3 bars, nightclub, gym, tennis courts, 2 pools, business center, etc. As the PR Director I led a team of eight guest relationists and was personally in charge of the VIP visitors.

• Managed media relations, editorial placement, and speaking opportunities.

• Developed press releases, write papers and supporting materials. Planned and directed all aspects of the hotel’s public relations policies, strategies, objectives and initiatives.

• Ensured that all external communications resulted in positive public relations.

• Maintained public goodwill towards the hotel.

• Main hotel communication with VIP guests.

Assistant Managing Director (1987 - 1988)

TELEVEN (TV Station)

This department was in charge of the sale of air time with a staff of six salespersons, and I was directly involved with the acquisition of the films and viewers’ material. In direct relation with the international providers until the station was sold to new owners.

• Assisted the Managing Director in the start-up and subsequent running of the TV station.

• Substituted for the Managing Director during his four months of medical leave of absence with liberty to acquire programming material and films for the station.
