As Project Manager I was responsible of the smooth and on time delivery of the construction/remodeling work as well as making sure that the specifications and building codes where properly established in order to process the County Permits.

• Oversaw special contracts that required the appropriate use of Feng Shui in building placement and design, color selection and interior distribution of space and room placement.

Over 200 employees on this particular department with a year budget of $ 6,000,000.oo This was a special project where I was invited to be part of and be in charge of launching the AIDS awareness program for the country, selecting the media and managing the budget. Must of the selected campaign is still being used today.

This is a 5 star hotel with 528 rooms, 32 suites (one presidential), 4 restaurants, 3 bars, nightclub, gym, tennis courts, 2 pools, business center, etc. As the PR Director I led a team of eight guest relationists and was personally in charge of the VIP visitors.
• Managed media relations, editorial placement, and speaking opportunities.
• Developed press releases, write papers and supporting materials. Planned and directed all aspects of the hotel’s public relations policies, strategies, objectives and initiatives.
• Ensured that all external communications resulted in positive public relations.
• Maintained public goodwill towards the hotel.
• Main hotel communication with VIP guests.

This department was in charge of the sale of air time with a staff of six salespersons, and I was directly involved with the acquisition of the films and viewers’ material. In direct relation with the international providers until the station was sold to new owners.

• Substituted for the Managing Director during his four months of medical leave of absence with liberty to acquire programming material and films for the station.
