As a system administrator for over 17 years, I am interested and have ample experience in system administration, such as AS/400, Lotus Notes, MAPICS, Outlook. I also monitored and managed all regional servers, application status and DCTs. 1992-2009: Information System Support Analyst, GE Vetco Gray Pte Ltd, Singapore

As an Information System Support Analyst for 17 years, I monitored and managed all of the company’s regional servers, application status, two AS400 servers job schedule status and all AS400 DCTs. I also performed daily and monthly backup of PDMlink, AS400, MAPICS, File application, Proe and Lotus Notes email. I was also in charge of performing AS400 entire system backup with 200GB tapes every six months. I migrated data to and from AS400 system using Microsoft Office 2003 add-in program, using AS400 menu and commands such as WRKSYSSTS, WRKUSRPRF, WRKACTJOB. I served as an AS400 system administrator and provided technical supports for all regional users from Singapore Servers Center. I was also in charge of MAPICS administration; I maintained and backuped MAPICS daily in the morning before any user started their computer. Using J2SE, I coded for MAPICS user programs and added icons. With such maintenance, under the IBM iSeries AS400, MAPICS has been effective, reliable and virus-free.
