Council Bluffs, Iowa - a builder and remodeler of retail stores across the USA. Direct & manage quality systems and operations for construction building & remodeling of retail stores.

• Established construction Quality Assurance Standards.

2004 – 2007 DIRECTOR OF QUALITY Telmar Network Technology Council Bluffs, Iowa - a $300MM telecommunications hardware and software design & development, provider across the globe. Responsible for directing, administering, sustaining the quality management system in accordance with the Quest Forum's TL 9000 Quality Management System Standard at five domestic locations and 3 international facilities. Developed and guided the 4 internal auditing teams in the performance of the internal audits. Coordinated the 3rd party customer and registration audits for all certified facilities. Responsible for the system documentation which included the policy, procedure and work processes for the entire organization.

Taught, coached and mentored management and front line personnel in the Lean Business System Principles based on the Toyota Production System, (TPS). TPS Principles included: Value Stream Mapping, 5's, Visual Factory, Quick Changeover, Waste Elimination, Layout, Video Analysis, Standard Operations, Total Productive Maintenance and Standardization.

Selected Accomplishments

- Conducted 3 day Introduction to Lean Learning Sessions with entire facility Management and Union Shop Production staff of 250+ individuals.

- Successfully created an employee participation agreement with the union committee.

- Completed Lean Learning Session with over 500+ employees at 4 other facilities including 1 location outside of the US.

- Presented 1st streamlined process to senior leadership 90 days after completing training - resulted in $50k savings.

- Other value mapped improvement projects resulted in net profit savings of over $35 MM.

Successfully directed and guided an independent resourceful quality, business and environmental management systems consulting firm that specializes in solving problems and resolving issues for a diverse group of small to mid sized organizations, to help them to become more efficient and profitable.
