Communication with my co-workers and supervisors is a strong point in my work habits. I am punctual and energetic in my assignments. Some of my work experience includes twelve years as an educator and winner of the Superintendant's Award for the Marietta City Schools, addiction and substance abuse groups, both individual and group, working with geriatric patients in a step down day treatment program, individual, group, and family counseling and assessing and interventions in crisis situations. Our academy is a therapeutic boarding school for students ages 13 to 17. My students consist of both males and females with behavioral and academic problems. Many present with mental health and substance abuse diagnosis as well. I lead two drug and alcohol groups with males and females. It is also a weekly task to provide family counseling and reunification services to link the student with the goal of returning to academic and family success.
