Hired in as a lead generator, and was promoted to appointment setting position.The lead generator position consists of cold calling homeowners on an automatic dialer system and getting them to come in to sign up for a home furnishing and ermodeling membership. As an appointment setter, I would contact homeowners from the leads that was given to me from the lead generators, in order to give them a specific time to come into the showroom. At that point they would decide if there was an interest in purchasing the membership.

My first position was as a quality control inspector for the production line. I worked as a assembler for 1 month. My inspection position consisted of making sure all engines parts were in good condition prior to being assembled.I would use certain software to submit information, whether parts were good or bad along with the parts serial number into the computer to be reviewed by the department supervisor, and was promoted to management.My final position at the company was in appointment setting and sales to high end customers who expressed an interest in purchasing the v-6 and the v-8 engines.I would call from the lists that were given.Inbound and outbound cold calling were done.

After the customer would purchase the product, I would confirm and finalize all sales and follow up with a courtesy call to make sure orders were in proper working condition.Thank you notes were issued with purchase receipt.

I held a psition as a telemarketing sales consultant.My duties were to contact new and existing customers to see if they were interested in a home equity line of credit and present other products for one of our clients, such as National City Bank who

wanted us to promote additional products such as credit cards,

separate loans for collge students.I would help customers with the application process by phone.

American Health Products 12/80 - 7/87

Held a position as a telemarketer and sales representative placing doctors and dentists with the proper companies for medical supplies. Company provided the lists of the manufacturers to call, my duties were to set up the appointments for our outside representatives, which would take the orders on what supplies were needed, set up the sale and bring them back to the office for the closing of the sale. This was my first position in management.
