Delta Conservation Demonstration Center (DCDC) May 2003 – February 2004
Relocated to Greenville, MS to manage the Delta Conservation Demonstration Center (DCDC), a research and demonstration farm. Responsibilities included farming, daily retrieval of data, bookkeeping, day-to-day public tours where explanation of day-to-day operations of the research farm to visitors took place. Prepared meals for visitors and employees. Barbeques etc.
Helena Chemical January 2002 – May 2003
Custom Applicator for Helena Chemical in Holly Grove, Arkansas. Responsibilities included Custom application of herbicides and insecticides, maintenance and upkeep of applicator equipment. Daily communication with customers.
Terra (formerly Agro and Agriliance) January 1996 – December 2002
Managed Terra until business was closed due to corporate downsizing in December 2002. Oversaw daily operations of Terra, had staff of 10 employees. Serviced 25 farmers in 3 Arkansas counties. In 1997 began Precision Ag Program after completing Site SpecficAg Course at Oklahoma State. Oversaw and managed Custom Application program. Kept Inventory and ordered products as necessary. Handled accounts payable and debt problems with customers.
San Road Farms January 1979 – December 1995
Managed family farm of 700 acres in Holly Grove, Arkansas. Daily operation of growing cotton, rice, corn and soybeans. Began Custom Application Business in 1985 (C & D Applications)
