I am currently seeking a full or part time transcription position. I transcribed during college for Dr’s Hospital in Washington, D.C. There I typed mostly pathology, radiology, and oncology reports including the basic 4. For the past 3 years, I have been doing cardiology, internal medicine, gastroenterology, pain management, infectious disease, orthopedics, radiology, physical and occupation therapy, general transcription, and podiatry both operative and progress notes.

I completed Career Step Medical Transcription School over three years ago having realized that I needed a refresher to update my skills and to learn some of the latest technology. I passed the final with honors. I typed over 1500 reports of every type with most being ESL’s or poor sound quality. I work well independently and love transcribing. Currently, I am an AHDI member, I am active in my local chapter and am studying for my RMT.

Most of my past work history has been in the accounting field. I have strong analytical skills as well as a strong working relationship with my PC.
