OBJECTIVE AND SUMMARY
To obtain a job as an Environment Artist utilizing my skills and
experience. I started out as an Environment artist creating Low polygon 3d
environment assets. Creating modular pieces for the world that fit in a
certain measurement to allow it to align with other assets. As well as
Environment props that dress up the world. These assets were usually based
off of concepts from the concept artist. After about 6 months of that I
requested to do only texture art so that I can better my skills as a hand
painted artist. This is what I have been doing for the past year. The
models would be done by the modeling team and then uploaded to the filing
system and then I would be assign to texture it. I had a specific texture
size to use. Large objects were 256 * 256 and smaller objects were to use
128 * 128. If a models silhouette or UV's needed to be fixed I would
correct it in Maya 12.
