Acting QA Manager for a Rigid Plastic Facility, assisting in the set up of their ISO 9001 Certification by implementation through process, procedures and GMP standards. Also utilizing Lean Manufacturing standards to lower the “man hours per material lbs” costs through streamlining the production process and production planning. QA department also uses Six Sigma Green Belt standards for the quality of all food and industrial products and production.

2006 – 2010 Mastering & Galvanic Plant Consultant

Plant Managing for Manufacturing Facilities in the Southern California area and responsibilities that included planning, guiding, and directing the plant operations team in plastic injection, chemical processes and packaging departments to achieve plant objectives for safety, quality, on time delivery, and overall plant yields with Lean manufacturing guidelines, GMP and ISO 9001 standards.

Oversee plant productions including daily operations with ODC Mastering, Digital Matrix Plating, Water and Waste System, plastic injection molding, electrical testing for quality of replicas, chemical titrations of process bathes and waste streams and oversee packaging, shipping and distribution of disc’s to customers. Participate in all start up procedures of the company including: hiring contractors, meeting with vendors, designing room layout, setting up and testing equipment and training of machine operators with respect to all chemical and plastic injection processes.

Plating Department Supervisor / QC Supervisor Asst.

Oversee second shift production work load and operations of the plating line, D.I. water systems and wastewater treatment line. Work closely with upper management on R&D improvement projects. Assist in quality control to produce the highest possible plating for the companies ISO 9001/QS 9000 status. Hazwopper cert.

Contribute to the start up of the mastering, galvanics, plastic injection molding equipment and packaging departments. Prepare the equipment of production. Manage the operators to ensure high quality stampers and plastic injection discs for the production of CD-A, CD-ROM, DVD-5, and DVD-9.
