SUMMARY OF PURPOSE
Dear Sir or Madam,
I appreciate this opportunity to provide further background information in support of my application for this job.
First of all I would like to present some background about myself. My name is Nabiollah Rad and I am from Iran. Currently I am living in London as a fulltime student practicing English in Twin Towers English College (IELTS level). Along with improving my language proficiency in English, I want to achieve a high grade in IELTS by the end of the course.
I have my Master’s Degree in plant breeding from Shahrekord University, Shahrekord, Iran. I accomplished 4 years undergraduate studies, two years of which were completed as a non continuous associate degree in the field of cold region fruits at Shahrekord Agriculture Education Center, and completed the last 2 years of Bachelor’s Degree Course of study in the field of Plant Products Engineering - Farming (Agronomy) at Shahrood University of Technology, Shahrood, Iran.
During my studies at University I was almost always the top student of the group and sometimes of the whole University, where I had a reputation among my teachers for being hard-working and reliable. While I was studying my Master, I presented my thesis before graduation and got a high mark on my research (of 19.6 out of 20). As one of my professors said, I was the top student in class when it came to self motivation and ambition for advancing knowledge.
During my university years, I always enjoyed doing research as it gave me such a great sense of personal satisfaction to achieve knowledge through practicing my own research. I believe that a graduate student can greatly contribute to improving the quality of life by developing and applying leading-edge knowledge. So I am interested in doing this job because I believe my qualifications and enthusiasm to researches and work have made a very good match with this position and surely I will follow it.
Thank you very much for considering my request and I look forward to your positive response.
