Prepare appraisals and reports in Word and WordPerfect. Research assessor records using websites or contacting county assessor and collector offices for information on subject of appraisals. After appraiser has made final edits, appraisal is then assembled and bound for distribution to clients.
Use maps to research soils information online using the Natural Resource Conservation website http://websoilsurvey.nrcs.usda.gov/app. Preparation of invoices using Access, balance settlement sheets with scale tickets on Pay-as-Cut timber sales and maintain a spreadsheet in Excel for those sales, use database (Access) to create labels and buyers list for mailing out sale notices.
Training and mentoring clerical staff in both Arkadelphia and Texarkana offices. Also involved in the hiring process for clerical employees. Scheduling and training two part-time clerical.
Used Word and WordPerfect for preparing correspondence, reports, and sale notices. Type approximately 45 w.p.m.
