Project brief: The Company is implementing SAP ECC 6.0 for its group of companies which ventures into different industries like infrastructure, manufacturing and healthcare. The modules which are being

Implemented for the company are SD, MM, FI, and Payroll.

Below are few of the SAP HR related features which are used exclusively for the client to address all business process and statuary requirements.

Project: Responsibilities

Study & Analysis of AS IS - TO BE conditions & carrying out Business processes re-engineering where required. Gathered & analyzed varied Business Requirements & Defined the TO - BE processes. Identification of Gaps & finalization of Business Blueprint.

Created Enterprise Structure & Personnel structure.

Carried out configuration of required Infotypes, Personnel Actions, Infogroups, Infogroup Modifier, and Administrator & Administrator Groups etc. in PA.

Established the use of SAP HR for all requirements like Personal Administration, Organizational Management, Payroll, and Time Management.

Creating and maintaining the organizational structure. Maintaining the number ranges for OM Objects. Worked on assignment of several objects of OM such as Organizational Unit, Positions, Holder, and Cost Centers with help of relevant relationships. Configuration of Objects & Creation of relationships .Integration with Personnel Administration through reports. Creating the configurable data for OM infotype.

Configured user parameters and the Number Range Intervals for Personnel Numbers. Defining Info groups and assigning them to personnel actions to enter structured information of employees in the system. Controlling the fields on the screen. Made changes to features as per requirement. Created and Configured the Enterprise Structure (Personnel areas, and Personnel sub areas) and the Personnel Structure (Employee group, Employee sub group) and Pay scale structure. Customized various Personnel Actions and respective Info groups, and assigned the info groups to personnel actions to enter structured information of the employee in the system for each of the actions. Customize Action Menu for various customize personnel actions according to the client requirement. Maintained various Time Constraint Classes for various Info Types according to the client requirement.

Creating Control Record by generating Payroll Periods, Period Modifiers and Payroll Past Retro Accounting Period for different payroll areas. Configured Pay Scale Type, Pay Scale Area and assign to Enterprise Structure. Assigning Pay Scale Type and Pay Scale Area to Basic pay. Revise Pay Scale Groups, Levels and Pay Scale Ranges. Configuration of payroll components like wage types with relevant characteristics. Defining Wage type Permissibility for each personnel sub area and employee subgroup in Basic Pay, Recurring Payments and Deductions, Additional Payment and Wage Type Characteristics. Revise Default Wage Type Model and assign to Enterprise Structure. Define valuation of Base Wage Types. Release payroll, checking results, making corrections and checking Remuneration Statement for accurate results. Knowledge in Setting default values and making decisions through various features. Configuration settings for the Info types related to payroll for relevant Tax Calculations. Creation of Symbolic accounts and assignment of wage types to symbolic accounts to transfer the payable amounts into the relevant accounts. Configuration of Pay slip.

Maintained Negative Time Management. Creating Work Schedules, Period Work Schedules, Daily Work Schedules, Planned Working Time and Day Types. Defined the Leave Types and assigning the Leave Quotas for deduction, based on employee group and employee subgroup by using the info type 2006 (Absence Quota). Generation rules and also creating Counting Rules.

Created defaults for Master Data configuration using features ABKRS, PINCH, VDSK1 and TARIF for Master Data Info Types.

Training & Documentation: Participated in requirement collection, analysis, development of SAP user manuals, end user training for reporting and navigation while working as Instructional Designer.
