Professional Experience
CONTRACTOR, FEDEX GROUND, THROUGH CEI (2011)
Performing maintenance and enhancements to the FedEx Ground Wizard application. Exclusively using RPG Free, and CGI, some HTML maintenance also involved. Designed and performed enhancements to OIT transaction monitor, a web application. All modifications accomplished using the IBM RDI application.
PROGRAMMER, Funeral Services Incorporated (2004-2009)
Responsible for the installation and maintenance of financial applications involving extensive use of CGI programming, SQL combined with RPG, and stand alone SQL in stored procedures. Recent applications included Microsoft SQL Server 2005.
T3 PRODUCT MANAGER, Choice Technologies (2001-2002)
Maintained and updated T3 systems (this package is a heavily modified version of SUPPORTNET software). Executed modifications and enhancements to the system. Performed user support activities for all Choice Technologies T3 customers. Package included accounting, order entry, billing, and warehousing components.

Successfully managed project teams with up to 7 members. Saw project through from inception to completion. Delegated responsibilities. Developed and evaluated staff on performance. Planned and reported on projects. Managed project scopes and customer expectations. Projects:
Designed and created application programs required to copy information from one customer for manufacturer of automotive components.
Packaged support for custom application including modification and creation of programs to support company’s AS/400 package LSAMS for mortgage finance company.
Project Leader on several projects including part number change system, KOGO inventory management and reporting system, warehouse management system, routing controlled warehouse for manufacturer of pneumatic components. Successfully led additional project for Y2K remediation effort.
Served as Project Leader on custom package modification, as well as new program and system development for trucking company software manufacturer.
Project Leader at a steel manufacturer for native mode conversion and file definition project. Performed analyses of applications running in System/36 mode on the AS/400 to estimate the effort and time involved in the conversion of data files to Native AS/400. Documented approximately 900 files used by system and wrote a utility to obtain layouts from the “I” specifications within the programs.
Analyzed, designed, programmed, tested, and implemented a PC interface into BPCS along with miscellaneous enhancements and modifications for a furniture manufacturer.
