EXPERIENCE:

Since September 2011, working as Management Trainee (Hospital Administration) in Sri Ramachandra Medical Centre of Sri Ramachandra University, Porur, Chennai.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITES

• Make a Daily safety rounds in patient care areas as per the monthly calendar and make a report and submit to the QIPST.

• Create the Quality indicators for the Facility management and safety and check the quality improvements periodically as per the standards

• Collect the reports of water testing periodically ( drinking, scrub water, R.O, and chilled water using for Air conditioning)on monthly basis and monitoring the quality of water using in the medical centre.

• Conducting and coordinating all drills ( Fire evacuation, Hazmat, Bomb threat, Epidemic, Disaster and Equipment recall Drill in CSSD) as per the schedule.

• Facilitating JCIA and NABH accreditation process of various projects.

• Getting a Infection control clearance and approval from Infection control committee for renovation and new constructions of hospital premises and do daily inspection in the site and report to the Safety committee.

• Making the Hazard Vulnerability Analysis (HVA) for the Medical centre.

• Making a Standard Operating procedure (SOP) for all the Non Clinical areas and implementing.

• Identify the hazardous materials using in the medical centre and prepare the manual and educate the staff on the effects and safe handling.

• Identify the Occupational Health hazards of the employees for all areas in the medical centre and educate respective area staffs periodically.

• Maintaining Statutory documents for Facility management and Safety (Licenses and others)

• Attending Regular Committee meetings.

CAREER ACHEIVEMENTS

• Hospital Facility Management and Safety Coordinator for Implementation of Quality standards (Policies, SOPs, Quality Indicators, Manuals and Analysis of data’s) in the area of Civil, Maintenance, Electrical, HVAC, Manifold, Housekeeping, Laundry and Mechanical workshop and successfully accreditated by the Joint Commission International Accreditation( JCIA), National Accreditation Board for Hospitals and Health care providers( NABH), National Accreditation Board of Laboratories and Blood bank (NABL) and (AABB) at SRMC from October 2011 – April 2012.
