Brief description of the project:

GE WCS is a company, which deals with factoring as a core business. Factoring means purchase of invoices from the clients and funding those invoices back to the client with factoring fee. This is also called as Invoice discounting (ID). The Invoices are received through a client file, which are loaded into Factorlink application to find the current position of the Client. I have involved in various application activities like

Brief description of the project:

Penske Truck Leasing Company is a Truck Rental and Leasing Company where several applications are involved to maintain the Business with the customers. I have involved in various applications like Rental Agreement, PDF Generation Process, EDI (Electronic Data Interfacing), A2270 - Merging Rental Customers, Removing Duplicate Customers by replacing with 12 position Customers, Journal Entry System, PEMS (Penske Electronic Matching System), PCard Maintenance Process, AP Upload Process, Enhancing Rental Net Reports.

One of the major projects among all the applications is A2270 Project where Penske Truck Leasing has replaced all the Rental Customers from 6 length Customer Numbers to 12 length customers. In order to achieve this all the applications had been changed to accommodate this 12 length customer Number. This is the biggest project ever implemented by Penske Truck Leasing Company.

Created User-friendly process for users to check the status of their samples online.

Involved in Design and Development of HTML & midrange based Applications.

Developing & enhancing the entire online process in testing the Samples.

Developing & enhancing the entire process in tracking the Duplicate Tickets.

Reinsurance Module involves reinsuring the various classes of business. This system has been developed using MVC Architecture. There are different messaging systems namely: InternetUMS, OpenUMS, HandsFreeUMS, MobileUMS.

Involved in Design and Development of InternetUMS module as a Java Developer.

Design has been done using Rational Rose.

Implemented this system using Apache Web Server, Java2, JSP, JavaScript, Servlets and Java Bean. All the Web pages have been developed using JSP and JavaScript has been used for validation. JSP passed values to Java Bean with the help of Servlets. Java Bean communicated with the database for transactions.
