Law Offices of Williams & Higdon. Conway, Arkansas. Founding Partner/Attorney. October 2004 to present. Focused law practice primarily on immigration law. Represented clients in a variety of legal areas, including, but not limited to: immigration law, municipal defense, employment law, landlord/tenant law, creditor collections, family law, and criminal/civil appeals. Presented oral argument before the United States Court of Appeals, Eighth Circuit and the Arkansas Court of Appeals.
Arkansas Municipal League. North Little Rock, Arkansas. Law Clerk. June 2002 to June 2004. Researched and prepared memoranda involving varying legal issues facing municipal governments, including, but not limited to: employment defense, federal wage and benefit laws, taxation, police misconduct, land use, and various administrative matters. Wrote numerous briefs in support of Motions for Summary Judgment; Motions in Limine; and Appellate briefs, including several in the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals and the Supreme Court of Arkansas.
