- Program Architect: Developed a joint project entitled, “Crossing Limits,” between the Pittsburgh Chapter of the AJC and Kingsley Association, an African American community organization, to inject writing workshops in Pittsburgh Public High School English classes; developed the necessary cirriculum. Originated and implemented a non-profit organization, “Crossing Limits, Inc.,” in the pursuit of bringing interfaith and multicultural communitees together through poetry - published a poetry anthology, “Crossing Limits: African Americans and American Jews - Poetry from Pittsburgh” and do city-wide café readings by anthology featured poets and open mic volunteers
- Outreach Coordinator: Headed all public relations matters, analyzed and determined community needs + designed and administred relevant youth and senior citizen programs, collaborated with the Community Relations Council as to execute the “Pittsburgh Holocaust Conference.” partnered with Pittsburgh Filmmakers and the Pittsburgh Unitarian Church - organized the Pittsburgh documentary premiere of “New Muslim Cool;” a PBS film which aired in June of 2009 (the Crossing Limits procject was a feature of the film via interviews, community meetings, and events)
