IPS, headquartered in Greenville, SC, is the former power services unit of Reliance Electric.

Severe economic downturn in 2009 forced IPS to contract its business.

Controller (Service Center)

Lead financial function as part of plant expansion. Responsible for overseeing and performing monthly and quarterly closings along with all required financial reporting to the Corporate office in Greenville, SC. Maintained trustee relationship and worked closely with lead bondholder to manage cash after financial partner died which allowed the company to continue in business until a buyer could be found.

Managed the closing down and relocation of the corporate office including sale of office assets to downsize the financial requirements of the company ensuring its continued existence.
