Software QA Analyst, Production Support

Tested customized MHN applications (CRM – Unity and AS400 – Symphony) in all functional areas. Responsible for new functionality, system, functional, regression, integration, verification, GUI, compliance and performance testing, including the development and execution of test plans, cases and scripts for various features and functions.

• Performed necessary investigation, analysis and evaluation to determine project feasibility. Conducted QA Reviews of deliverables, contributing to “go/no go” decision.

• Responsible for time estimates, reviews and approval of test plans and test cases created by other team members, prioritizing execution to be sure that projects are released on time.

• Introduced testing technique based on business processes rather than through system files which allowed more thorough testing during system QA and reduced number of problems discovered during UAT.

• Introduced the system of documenting business processes per project that reduced the time spent by developers and business users in explaining program functions with every new project.

Responsible for server/analyst/user side testing, including the development and execution of test plans for various features and functions of SupportSoft applications: enterprise-level multi-tier and SaaS hosted solution support.com. Duties included review requirements and designs; organizing knowledge transfer sessions; setting up environments; creating and signing test suits; testing features; organizing and participating in development/QA bug meetings; providing reporting on the process.

• Planned and created QA documentation which improved testing processes and product quality. Developed test plans and cases for multiple product versions, prioritized test cases to ensure timeliness of deliverables.

• Investigated problem areas to ensure product quality. Re-imaged/configured testing machines to re-create problems on all supported environments, and prepared environments for developers. Saved development time, freeing developers to concentrate on other things.
