I was the tool room lead person. I had seven apprentices that I was training. I showed them how to design and build stamping dies, jigs, and fixtures. I did all the ordering of all the tooling for the tool and die department. I distributed all work orders to the apprentices.

Tooling and Machines

I can operate all mills, lathes, drill presses and grinders-centerless and surface. I have worked with CNC mills and lathes, EDM wire and sinker machines.

I have my own CAD system at home. I have autocad. I can also program with DP Esprit and have a working knowledge of Mastercam.

I own all the tools needed for the job, cutters, drills, end mills. I also have a sine vice and gauge blocks, ect.

Personal

I am married and have five kids. I served in the United States Marine Corp., and have good leadership skills. I work well alone or with others. I enjoy the Tool and Die field. I work hard at my job, and enjoy the weekends with my family. I hunt, fish and am a licensed state guide. I am a volunteer instructor for the Hunter Safety Course provided through the state DNR.
