09/09 Labcyte INC. Asia-Pacific Technical Support($100k) Shanghai / Tokyo

Labcyte based in Silicon Valley and has the top advanced technology in the medical device/Bio-lab automation field, especially for the liquid handlers. Their Echo use the acoustic energy to transfer liquid droplet between 384/1536 test plates, They need a tri-lingual person with multi-culture background to take care the entire Asia-Pacific from Japan to Australia technical support, that is a very technical job and sometimes need to take care their design bugs in the field. Recently the remote computer access improved our efficiency; the technical skill covers mechanic, electronic, computer hard/soft ware, bio-lab technology. This job position is a challenge between the multi-culture customers and US head quarters.

11/06 Haas Automation. Asia Technical Support Engineer($80k) Los Angeles, USA

Haas automation has about 60% CNC machine market share in US and is still expending its business; their oversea business need a bilingual person with Chinese background to set up their new Shanghai based manufacture. I am one of the team members to “pack a factory into one box”. When we open the box, the step by step project can show us how to build the manufacture form both the quantity and quality control. We achieved this target in reality. This position gives me a good training in mechanic concept such as mechanic power drive stream, geometry alignment, ball bar dynamic evaluation.

1/04 Sakura INC. Test/Service Engineer($55k) Los Angeles, USA

This is a Japanese background company, they work for medical devices that process human’s tissue got from patient and ready for microscope diagnose. Based on their working style and my background they want me to work with their R&D design group. From the lab jobs I learned how to understand the designer’s idea and set up the test plan to show them necessary and sufficient data to improve the design. Besides these, I also worked as a regular service engineer. Doing maintenance and field service, collecting customer’s feedback.

1/01 Einux INC. Electric Design Engineer($40k) Los Angeles, USA

This company is one of the AMD processor based blade server supplier and try to set up a production assembly line. I worked on project plan, detail design, set up and adjustment, modification, technique support. That line was from a used production line and need to be redesign completely. I achieved large amount of cost down successfully by reuse current in stock material and put them into my design; that line built with Mitsubishi PLC central control, step motor, air drive valve, chain drive movement, etc. I wrote Ladder Logic schematic and all PLC code.

4/98 Office Support Center Service Engineer Toyohashi, Japan

This part time job gave me many basic experiences in computer technology and most importantly it supported my tuitions during those years till I finished my master course in Japan.

3/92 Shenyang Liming Aviation Jet Engine Co. Design/Service Engineer China

This famous company in China works on the Jet Engine application on the ground--Gas Turbine Generator, normally runs in the temporary power plant or peak compensation power plant. I worked on the engine, turbine and generator control, also the power distribution/management. Those complex machines need lots of modification to meet the specific demand, I work together with supplier side such as GE design group and field group till the machine was handed to the end user. The first one year running is normally under our taking care.

7/872 Shenyang Liming Aviation Jet Engine Co. Electronic Design Engineer China

This famous company in China works on the air force Jet Engine. They need a lot of special devices and instruments that are hard to find in the market. I worked in the Electronic Lab. I use different technology to achieved some project. Such as current control welding (close loop control and power drive), magnetic phase signal synchronization (analog/digital circuit and power drive), heat treatment process control (micro controller based), TV display tube production line (PLC multi point control) etc.

My major was Information Technology. Our team use Patten Recognition technology to process computer photography. Our subject is to build a medical CT graphic diagnosis support system; I use some algorithm to isolate the cancer candidates and mark them from normal tissue organization. These jobs were performed by Unix based C language.

This was one-year research on the Information Technology; I worked on how to evaluate the best suitable algorithm to the industrial or motion control automaton system.

My major was Electronic Engineering. During those years, Micro Chip control was just led into China, I designed the heating processing control system hardware and software independently for the tea drying production application. This was my graduation design.
