• Have 10 years experience in online delivery, including biology lecture and labs, integrated science for teachers and Georgia High School Graduation Test – Science

• Administrative duties include campus coordinator for Peach State Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation (PSLSAMP), a NSF sponsored program, which focuses improving science majors and retention of underrepresented minorities in science, advisor for the Clarkston Science Club.

• Coordinated summer workshops for PSLSAMP, Science Club lecture series, and lyceum on various science topics. Coordinated or helped coordinate DeKalb County Elementary Teachers Science Conference (2009 and 2010) (Part of the USG STEM Initiative), Science Fun Day (E. L. Miller Elementary School – DeKalb County Schools), where GPC faculty involved elementary students in hand-on science activities.

• Recipient of two University System of Georgia grants, including a technology grant and The Governor’s Teaching Fellows Grant.

• Involved in various community engagement projects with DeKalb County Schools, including coordinator of tutoring with E. L. Miller Elementary, volunteering to tutor the GHSGT-Science at Clarkston High School, coordinated attendance of Genetics Conference and provision of guest speaker for Stephenson High School.
