I worked on a contract basis out of town. This company paid all employees expense. As a CMM Inspector the types of inspections that I performed were dimensional/ visual, NDE/dimensional/visual, geometric dimension inspection. That basically means that no part is shipped out without my consent and my personal approval. Some of the software that I used included: DMIS and Deatutor. I also am responsible for QC78 Procedures of parts to match blueprints of geometric tolerances. I was also a key holder that was responsible for opening and closing the CMM Department.

I was hired as a CNC Lathe Machinist for Tyco. My duties here consisted of running two to three lathes at a time. Sometimes you would have to set up one while the others were running. I also had to edit programs, read blueprints, perform audits, use a RAM Optical Measuring Computer, CMM, use mic calipers, height gauges, preset tools, G Codes, M Codes, insert tools, carbide tools, ball end mills, coolant drills, carbide drills, brazed tooling, shank boring bars, end mills, and clean machines. The machines that I have used were three and four axis. The materials were machined with were brass, aluminum, stainless 303 and 304, Inconel 718, and ad alloys. I also sometimes had to program tools to be a better fit for the job.
