I had been worked as a commissioning operator in Amine regeneration unit (capacity of

1320TPD) at Qatar Gas, for the client of Laffan Refinery. Laffan Refinery is a condensate refinery which process unsweetened condensate (146,000 BPSD) from the Qatar north gas field to LPG (35.3 T/H), hydro treated Naphtha (292.1 T/H), hydro treated Kerojet (270 T/H) and Gasoil (131.6 T/H).

JOB PROFILE-

1. Position: Field operator / DCS operator Paraxylene Plant

(UOP process)

Nature of work:

• Safe and Efficient Field Operations in Process sections

o Pre Fractionation

o In Prefract section, heart cut kerosene of carbon chain C10 –C14 is separated from feed stock using distillation.

o Hydro treator

o The purpose of UOP Hydrotreator unit is to remove naturally occurring contaminants from feed .These are removed in reactor in presence of S12 catalyst at310DegC while pressure is 65kg/cm2

o Sour Water Stripper

o H2S and NH3 form in reaction forms salt which are dissolves in water and are treated in sour water stripper

o UOP Molex Unit

o Molex process is effective method of separating normal paraffin from stream of hydrobon having normal and non normal by selective adsorption process.

o Fired Heaters

o Compressors

o Compressors are reciprocating, double acting and multistage.

• Plant Start-up and Shut-down activities

• Operating &Monitoring of

Reciprocating compressors, Centrifugal and reciprocating pumps, Fired Heaters (Balance Draft and Natural Draft),

• Scheduled Changeover of Rotary equipments like Pumps and Compressor (Recycle H2 gas & make Up Gas),

and experience in Pre commissioning and commissioning activities like loop clearance, loop flushing hydro & pneumatic test and final box-up leak test, utility establishment, column, heater operation startup and changeover of pumps & compressors and routine checks. Involved in critical start up and shut down operations. I am well conversed with the handling operations & troubles shooting of the following. Responsible for monitoring field conditions, pumps, turbines, Compressors, exchangers and local temperature & pressure points. Taking instructions from panel man to carry out routine job and During trouble shooting.

SRU UNIT

Worked as a Field Operator in Sru/Sws/Aru/Pelletizer Plant, I have sound knowledge in plant operation and have Pre-commissioning & commissioning experience in

SRU/SWS/ARU/PELLETIZER Plant.

During The Pre-Commissioning Period I Involve: --

DCS operation at the time of Commissioning

Claus Reactors and burner dry out

Alkaline boil out for Waste heat boiler and condensers

degreasing in Amine units.

System Flushing, leak checking and pressure test.

Prepare punch point and timely liquidation for all systems

Vessel inspection and rotary equipments inspection.

Coordination to other department and venders.

Cold circulations and steam blowing

Chemicals handled during Loading Operations:- Linear Alkyl Benzene, Normal Paraffin, Benzene, LAB Raffinate, Heavy Alkylate, Heavy Normal Paraffin, LAB Slops, Light Normal Paraffin, Kerosene, Tar Polymer, Para Xylene, PX Slop, Rexon, Remax, Remax 2, and Renine.
