Work Experience
Peterborough County-City Health Unit, Cooperative GIS Project – Shade Audit
Preformed a shade audit on the local Peterborough Area park Rogers Cove, with the intention to create a protocol for conducting future shade audits for local conditions, so that it is able to be reproduced not only by future students of GIS, but also for non-GIS users and smaller municipalities with a limited budget and no GIS expertise.
Includes:
• The collection of data with the use of a Trimble Nomad mobile GIS • Development of Geodatabase • 3D analysis and shade audit • Development of protocol • Oral and visual presentations.
