Site safety officer for the Pascagoula Staging Site, on the continuing clean up of oil from BP MC252 Oil Spill Disaster. Responsible for over 350 techinications and response workers at several different outer barrier islands. Hold daily safety meetings, Tool box, JHSA, coordinate and oversee personnel boarding of 60 vessels working on the islands. Escort work crews to island destinations for clean up, Work close with Paramedics, and US Forrest Service. Lead Safety Office for 4 sites, VA, NJ, NY, and MASS. Directed all safety operations for FEMA and US Army Corps of Engs. At multiple sites during and after hurricane Disaster. From mobilizing and site set up to staffing, and maintaining safe operation of emergency power missions. Site Safety Officer-FEMA-US ARMY CORPS OF ENG. ALABAMA TORNADO DISASTER April-May 2011 (on loan for disaster)
Lead safety officer for the Alabama tornado disaster, under the control of the Army Corps of Engineers and FEMA, set up emergency power mission command center at Maxwell Air Force Base, oversaw all emergency power equipment deliveries, inspections, servicing, and loading of units for dispatch, all transport vehicles, flat bed trucks, tractor trailers for mission remote locations thru out the disaster zone. Oversaw all fork lift operations, training, site orientation, staffing, logistics, communications, fuels, worked closely with command, electricians, transport drivers, as well as over 100 support staff, and air force base command. Complete demobilization operation when mission was completed with a perfect safety record.
SITE SAFETY LEAD OFFICER- BP DECONTAMINATION SITE-PASCAGOULA, MS. SEPT 2010-Current
Lead Safety Officer at the Pascagoula BP Northrop Grumman Decon site 601.with 25 safety Technicians and Observers in the day to day safety operation of Decontaminating hundreds of response boats and barge vessels at the site, and together with many different contractors and sub contractors, vendors, federal, state, and local law enforcement officials, USCG, Project directors, IH, inspectors. Developed daily emergency rescue plans for multiple confined space entries and monitored all sites throughout shift. Performed daily JHA-JSA toolbox meetings. Airship Over flights Safety Operations. Responsible for daily multiple site inspections, incident investigation, photography, equipment inspection, theft control, ATV training, visitor Site orientation, supplied air bottle monitoring, HSSE incident and investigation and reporting. Implemented and executed all hurricane evacuation demob and re-entry planning, inclement weather plans, and severe weather monitoring.
SITE SAFETY LEAD OFFICER-BP DEEPWATER HORIZON DISASTER-GULF OF MEXICO. April 2010- Current
Performed duties as the Lead Safety Officer for the, Port of West St. Mary’s, Cameron, Venice, Port Fourchon, BP oil spill cleanup sites. This consisted of establishing a construction safety program for the construction of the site and an operational safety program for the site after the construction phase was completed. My duties were to assist in the daily safety management of the site, which included confined space entry, fall protection, daily tool box safety meetings, boat operations safety, incident investigation and etc. The site consisted of 275 people and included boat and land operations as well as decontamination operations. During this project as the lead safety person I managed eight safety persons including managing personnel scheduling, performance evaluation and site management interface. The project was completed without any OSHA recordable injuries or OSHA/EPA citations.

Oversight of all safety and environmentally impactful activities at the local harbor and shipyard, supervise crews checking for contaminants, wastewater disposal, debris, routine daily harbor checks on 24 foot boat, oversight of docking and departure of all pleasure craft and commercial vessels.
