Worked daily with my husband as a team of teacher for youth in residential treatment homes. Youth were placed in homes through juvenile detention, family services, and private placements as well. Daily work included working on specific treatment plans with each youth in the home which included teaching behaviors and basic living and emotional skills on a regular basis.

Daily manage GIS projects, creating and maintaining geodatabases, and use of ESRI and ARCGIS Desktop software to ensure accurate and up to date maps and GIS database. Good communication skills were always used and exceeded when working with customers, supervisors, and fellow employees. I helped train and implement GIS knowledge with my fellow employees to maintain continuity and encourage knowledge in the GIS field.
-6 months of this time during deployment I maintained a geodatabase in Iraq along with another GIS specialist. We maintained and created all GIS functions needed to operate and maintain a productive and accurate mapping system.

Known as a person who is passionate about her job and willing to learn quickly. My experiences are with youth but I have worked with families as well in the process of working with youth to help families heal. I plan on pursuing a Masters in counseling with emphasis on family or mental health.
