BUYER (Produce) / INVENTORY SUPPLY SUPERVISOR (Contract Position): Safeway, Inc. - Phoenix, AZ 09/11 – 08/12

Hired on a contract basis to fill the duties of a buyer / inventory supply supervisor and held responsibilities for multiple warehouses (divisions/states). My responsibilities included, but were not limited to the following; Maintained target service levels and inventory for fresh produce and non-fresh items in several Safeway warehouses in the U.S. Responsible for forecasting and for the procurement of daily needs and promotional requirements while maintaining strict inventory levels. Monitored sales levels and determined volume adjustments, replenishments and allocations. Monitored store demands while managing aged inventory and over/under stock situations. Load-builded items while maintaining cost of goods delivered to Safeway divisions. Reconciled discrepancies with inventory and cost of goods. Had daily interaction with vendors, divisions, directors, office managers and buyers, regional directors and transportation. Regularly communicated with quality assurance and marketing team.

CUSTOMER SERVICE MANAGER: The Fortune 500 Group, LLC - Phoenix, AZ 04/09 - 08/10

Ensured the needs of several thousands of clients were met in a way that improved customer satisfaction and increased profitability for the company. Resolved difficult issues regarding client complaints and other matters. Maintained solid client relationships by handling their questions and concerns with speed and professionalism. Registered domains through godaddy.com and ensured that all data entry was inputted correctly into the CRM so that the customer’s website would open properly. Daily use/updates of the CRM. Analyzed and evaluated new surety bond obligations and provided management with statistical reporting as assigned. Produced new/renewal license bonds for commercial surety businesses that are required by the state (AZ, NV) so they can engage in businesses, i.e., sales tax, restaurants, motor vehicle dealers, etc. Responsible for preparing judicial, probate, and public official bonds. Processed credit reports for the principal(s), requested bonding credit and delivered underwriting recommendations to the underwriter (owner) for approval.
