MUSIC TECHNOLOGY:
Over 145 outstanding student CDs with coordinating art work for the jewel case and CD sticker CDs have been produced in variety of formats. Live two-track recording, Live to multi track with some overdubbing mixed to two track, sequenced midi plus overdubs mixed to two track.
Additional research currently involves digital sound processing, recording and CD mastering using computer based hardware and software.
Continue research for live sound reinforcement concepts and strategies.
Ongoing research on Tennitus. Sound protection and awareness for musicians and music educators.
Sound level comparisons on performance and rehearsal acoustics.
Innovations in teaching included extensive use of technology for creative musical assignments. The use of music sequencing software has given students creative power in a guided environment. Students completed music DVD’s that combined creative artwork and photos with original music. The results were stunning. Other students in MUSC 315 wrote and recorded a full length CD with ten tracks of creative musical songs requiring extensive knowledge of many complicated software programs. Composed performed and recorded the music for two full length Aerobics videos by The Aerobibaby Co. The Videos are distributed internationally by Fast Forward Marketing, Victory Video Services, and Amazon.
