Chief Information Officer for the Public Transit Agency serving central Texas region surrounding metropolitan Austin. Responsible for all technology maintenance, support, planning and implementation throughout the agency. Annual budget of $10 mil+ for operating and capital expenses supporting a fleet of 750+ vehicles.
• Kept IT operational expenses flat over 3 years while building 2 new modes of transit and expanding the agency’s application portfolio by 20%.
• Achieved the distinction of being the first transit agency in Texas to receive a Gold Level certificate of transparency from the Texas Comptroller Leadership Circle by publishing all relevant agency data on-line.
