Research Summary
Project Title: Synthesis of Amino-Pyrimidine Derivatives substituted with Uracil and its
characterization by using IR spectra, NMR spectra, MASS spectra and its evaluation on
in-vitro Anti-microbial activity and in-vitro cytotoxicity studies using vero and HeLa cell
line.
Abstract: synthesis of aminopyrimidine derivatives from chalcones by using aromatic
aldehydes and its substitution with uracil derivatives gives good response against
microbials and invitro cytotoxicity

Literature search on amino-pyrimidine derivatives. Synthesized 15 molecules. Analyses
of NMR spectra, Mass spectra, IR spectra. Physiochemical properties such as melting
point, thin layer chromatography
