Kelseyville, CA 95451 ******@******-******.**

EXECUTIVE CONSULTANT

CIM / Global Change Leadership / Process Reengineering / CPI / MRPII / ERP / Materials / TQM / OD / Turnarounds / Integrations / Systems Analysis & Implementation / Inventory / Vendors / CM /BOM

Utilizing proven strategic, managerial, team building and technical skills, I helped companies achieve sustainable growth by launching innovative product and process improvement initiatives. Achieving consistent success across multiple complex product lines with FMC, United Defense and BAE Systems, my transferable skills include:

Enhancing processes/systems to boost quality and fulfillment/lower costs

Facilitating cultural change/leadership development to foster long-term growth

Helping employers optimize productivity with minimal labor/capital investment

Leading complex global programs and projects to successful conclusion

Building/leading teams to achieve organizational goals on time/within budget

Studied Organizational Behavior and Business Administration at the University of San Francisco and San Jose State University respectively and pursuing Masters Certificate in Leadership and Management - University of Notre Dame. Committed to professional development, supplemented a strong leadership and technical background with a CPIM from APICS plus advanced knowledge in CIM, ERP and MRPII systems.

Distinctive Accomplishments

Expedited major global contract. United Defense (UDLP) had inked a contract of about $100M to upgrade 323 obsolete Saudi APC vehicles and needed an expert to facilitate re-manufacturing process. After detailed software analysis/testing, initiated data conversion and systems implementation. Re-engineered existing processes, ensuring compatibility with existing US systems, then upgrading Saudi facility to ensure the program’s success.

Resolved key configuration problems to rescue major contract. $1.2B Bradley Fighting Vehicle was way over budget due to configuration changes requiring thousands of alterations. Customer was concerned about FMC’s ability to meet the challenge. Orchestrated release and implementation of all changes for this family of vehicles. Achieved 100% on-time performance, renewing Army’s faith while saving millions of dollars in the process.

Developed custom interfaces and system upgrade to meet requirements of large global program. UDLP upgrade of key military support vehicle involved multiple vendors supplying thousands of parts to facilities in Korea, Japan and Spain. Streamlined processes and orchestrated more precise system coordination, upgrading legacy system to ensure success of multi-year contract and avoid major expense of a brand new MRPII system.

Achieved significant cost savings/facilitated integration. When divisions of FMC and $3B Harsco formed UDLP, I was called in to assess needs as well as design and implement an interim process to communicate daily configuration to production engineering, quality, line management and shop floor parts personnel during 14-month transition from CA to PA. Trained staff on new system and shut down old CIM to save $2M per year.
