Work Exposure :

To carry out all the routine factory acceptance tests, including the site testing and fault analysis of HV

and LV motors of all types and DC motors. Reporting to Testing Manager/Division Manager.

The initial tests of the motors i.e. Coil BDV test, HV test,tan delta, capacitance,CFT,induced

Voltage,Surge comparison Test, Dummy rotor test,Megger, winding Resistance test,

Check the working of RTD’s, BTD’s etc during the initial tests

Preparation of electrical test reports with recommendations and finalizing the repair scope with

QA and Production

Perform the stage tests on the motors

Perform No load tests on the motors

Measurement of Vibration and noise level of motors during the no load test and on site

Perform RLA studies on the motors at site and in factory

Co-ordinate with marketing and planning for customer inspections and tests

Ensure safety precautions are taken during the testing activities in factory

Ensure safe working environment at site and ensure that all the PPE’s are followed by the

technician and workmen at site.
