Enter the steam and recovery dept: on October of 2000 as a utility worker for utilities, and worked my way up as boiler helper #2 and boiler helper #1 by June of 2001 I already had my 3rd class ticket and moved up to Turbine Operator at the Substation. Continued on working towards my 2nd class ticket until September 2006. I was trained in doing the shift Engineer job and worked as a Lead Hand for labor on operational Shut Down. Then the Dept: Manager approached me to move up as a Day shift Supervisor in Dec of 2006 That was an Assistant Chief position.
