Con Force Structural, Calgary Canada 2008 to 2010

QC Manager

• Responsible on the Quality Control of 3 precast production plants in Calgary, Winnipeg and Edmonton. Reporting to the Vice President, Prairie Region.

• Liaised with Production Manager for quality control of the production plant

• Elaboration of a new Quality System Manual for the 3 precast plants

• Performed Internal audits on Quality systems

• Preparation for CPCI/ PCI Precast Concrete Certification for the 3 precast concrete plants

Bilfinger Berger, Qatar 2007 to 2008

Manager Project Controls

Contracted to Al Sarya to oversee the erection of a new pre-cast concrete plant which supply Bilfinger Berger with pre-cast elements for the building of high rise structures.

• Co-ordinated and controlled the production of pre-cast elements

• Co-ordinate and control the erection of prefabricated elements for buildings ranging from 2 to 6 stories.

Accomplishment: Upon joining, I was able to influence significant improvement in the quality of work carried out, resulting in a positive and successful partnership on behalf of the consulting firm with the client.

Nicolock Paving Stones, Long Island, NY Jan. 2004 to Aug. 2004

Production Supervisor

In charge of production, quality control and manpower for two paving stone plants.

Recruited from Germany to Long Island, NY to head up paving stones plant production.

Responsibilities:

Following the reunification of Germany, plant operations were significantly downsized to optimize efficiency.

• Strategic reorganization and reduction of personnel to approximately 250 staff members.

• Full reorganization of the range of manufactured engineered products, to increase efficiencies and profitability.

• Massive reorganization of production areas, equipment and machinery within the plant.
