This Application Software computerizes the activities of R&F sections at Regional Offices, Circle Offices and Head Offices. Recovery of advances is an integral aspect of Banks functioning .Any slackening on this front would seriously jeopardize the health, soundness and long term viability of the Bank . Waiting for the borrower to call on the bank and repay the sums borrowed, as per schedule longer constitutes banking wisdom. Contacting, reminding, exhorting and perseverance with the borrower till the money is recovered in full is the need of the day. Over dues /NPAs are a drain on our profits. Hence there is an important role to be played by R&F Section/Recovery Section t RO/CO/HO to eliminate these non-performing assets and finally close them.
The various methods are: -
Calling the parties by Branch manager for a compromise.
Transferring the a/c's to LPD.
Filing a suit against the borrower, either in civil court or in DRT.
Without filing the suit also Bank can go and seize the security.
The securities, which are movable, can be seized without the intervention of court. The securities, which are immovable property under, mortgaged and of huge security should be seized with intervention of court. Bank can seize the security with the help of clearing agents, which are of the Bank's panel.
