The project is for the client Bank Of America, USA. The project involves monitoring and supporting the existing system which has jobs running in IIS Datastage 7.5.1 parallel extender. Help maintain the data in Teradata Database for the 3 important domains of the bank – customer, deposit and cards.
>Responsible for monitoring the jobs done in Datastage and handling the production issues.
>Fixing issues that occur on day-to-day basis and in maintaining the system.
>Maintaining internal trackers and dashboard that has the reports on the daily job runs.
>Responsible for effective communication between the project team and the customer.
>Review various documents with the new production changes.
>Track the changes that happen in the production during each releases and maintain them in Bank Of America Sharepoint.

The project is for the client Ameri Health Merci Family of Companies, USA in health care domain. The project involves end-to-end analysis of the existing system and automation of the manual validation process. The data to process comes in as a file which is mapped to the target database using IBM TX. This mapped data is validated using IBM Datastage 7.5.1 server jobs. The incoming data is Post-Adjudicated Data for claims which are validated against the rules set by standard agency (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (1996)). The valid claims are then identified and stored in the database for further downstream applications.

The project is for the client Limited Brands, USA in Retail domain. The project involves understanding the existing system and maintenance of the jobs scheduled by ControlM scheduler. The maintenance involves analysis of the fact and the dimension tables, and understanding the data that gets loaded from source to target. Balancing is done after each load and verified if all the data in the source is loaded to the target. Towards the end of the project, Express got disengaged from Limited Brands and a new system had to be built for Express which involved complete Knowledge transfer on the system maintenance to the client.
>Responsible for maintaining data that involves the sales details of Limited and Express Brands.
>Understanding the scheduling process of ControlM jobs.
>Fixing issues and maintaining the system. Creating an internal tool (Data Comparison) to maintain the balancing of the target data with the source data.
>Enhancing the code (Bteq scripts and Datastage Jobs) for better performance.
>Using an internal tool (IPSP) that maintains the bug fixing details on a daily basis.
>Maintaining Dashboard and developing monthly custom reports for the issues resolved and SLA adherence.

The data from input is transformed using Datastage jobs and stored in the Data warehouse. The input to the Datastage comes as IDoc from SAP and the data is processed and stored in the database.
>Responsible for maintaining jobs for Extraction, transformation and loading were performed using Datastage 7.1 parallel extender to build the data warehouse.
>Extensively used Datastage Designer to create and manipulate source and target definitions, mappings, transformations, re-usable transformations.
>Worked on various processing stages such as Transformer stage, Aggregator stage, Lookup stage, Remove-Duplicate stage, Sort stage, Filter stage, Sequence Generator stage, Join stage, etc.
