TRANSPORTATION
∙ Managed private fleet of 25 power units and 100 trailers.
∙ Negotiated transportation rates and managed contracts with LTL, Truckload and Rail Carriers, offering extraordinary discounts and excellent FAK and Pallet Rate options.
∙ Successful implementation of suitable high-tech RF-based Warehouse Management Systems through several high volume distribution operations.
ACCOMPLISHMENTS
∙ Successfully managed the operations of Northeast Pennsylvania’s finest public distribution company. At peak this company operated over 2,000,000SF of space by providing warehousing, distribution, and transportation services to many of the nation’s leading companies.
∙ While Executive Vice President of Biscontini Distribution Centers, operations were ranked “Best Overall Performance” by clients when compared to other groups providing similar service.
∙ Established and managed a rail re-load center located on the Canadian Pacific railroad which handled 2,000 carloads annually. The volume was comprised of alcoholic beverages, food products, forest products and building materials, metals and non-hazardous chemicals.
∙ Over 20 years managing demanding, dynamic service business and have never lost a customer to dissatisfaction.
