• Translated four Memorandums of Understanding between Iraqi Ministries (of Labor, Planning and Agriculture) and foreign entities (BearingPoint Inc. and Danish TAO).

• Translated 2005- 2007 National Development Strategy for Iraqi Ministry of Planning

• Translated hundreds of official correspondence letters English Arabic and vise versa as well as PowerPoint documents, forms and surveys questionnaires in addition to budgets, researches and studies.

• Translated the first draft of Joint Matrix Index – International COMPACT for Iraq

• Oral Interpretation tasks when attended several meetings, seminars, training courses, conferences and workshops.

Professional Experience Baghdad, Iraq

• NIRAS Inc/ Royal Danish Embassy: Advisor, translator, & linguist for international experts aiding Iraqi Ministries of Planning, Agriculture, Transportation, Human Rights, and Displaced and Migrants. March 2008- May 2009.

• BearingPoint Inc/ USAID: Translator and admin assistant with Micro Lending, Social Safety Net and Pension Reform team of international experts who helped Iraqi government in transition by amending social laws. August 2005- March 2008 including two years supervising the team of translators to ensure that the translation meets the quality standards as well as registered meetings records, edited and issued the social bulletin

• DFID: Program assistant, helped carry out Rapid Expenditure Household Survey identifying poverty line for the first time in Iraq. Feb 2005 – July 2005

• World Bank: Translator & liaison officer, started social reform program in Iraq providing international consultants with data for studies/surveys. Nov 2004- March 2005

• 350 Civil Affairs Command CPA Translator & liaison officer between Ministry of Social Affairs and coalition senior advisors. Reviewed Iraq social security and social welfare laws. June 2003- August 2004

• Romanian Embassy Part-time translator (Nov. 2007- May 09), translated 160 official correspondence letter between the embassy and the Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
