Relevant Experience & Accomplishments:

Inventory Control Manager:

•Successfully established new physical inventory procedures in a manufacturing environment with

approximately $12million of book inventory.

•Maintained a +98% accuracy in stocking locations for raw material and parts.

•Responsible for all bi-annual physical inventories and processes.

•Managed two departments, Shipping and Receiving while achieving all time company high’s for input

and output with minimal increase in staffing and equipment.

•Established and staffed a cycle counting program which was nonexistent in prior years.

•Redesigned floor layout in both shipping and receiving to maximize space utilization.

•Maintained a +99% “on time shipping performance” for all products within shipping’s control.

•SAP experience with inventory adjustments and production orders.

•Supervised the shipping department for 2 years. Shipping department started from scratch with no

employees, storage racks, or procedures.

•Responsible for freight carrier logistics and negotiated freight rates for both inbound and outbound

shipments.

•As shipping Supervisor I interviewed, trained and supervised a staff of approximately 12 employees.

•Evaluated staff members, conducted coaching improvements and trained leads and future supervisor.

•As manager I developed two departments containing about 35 employees into goal-oriented, cohesive

groups.

•Successfully refined and implemented new projects.

•Lead monthly inventory committee meetings with co-managers, vice president of operations and vice

president of accounting.
