Plans with Administrative staff the objectives and cope of the volunteer services program to augment the mission and vision of the hospital. Meets with department managers to determine volunteer, work hours, types of services and assignment of volunteer workers.
Manages, recruits, trains, places and supervises 500 volunteer members throughout the hospital and physician offices. Recruits and interviews applicants to determine their aptitudes, abilities, and other KSA’s. Classifies applicants according to qualification, interest, age, time available for duty, and other characteristics.
