October 2007-October 2008: Creative Group Head, Bitopi Leo Burnett
I was in charge of individual brand or pitch teams (Bitopi’s creative system utilizes on-the-fly teams for each campaign) and answered to the Group Creative Director. As such, I was be responsible for strategy development and maintaining cohesiveness, supervising and facilitating concept development, art direction and copy, being present as an idea generator and arbitrator for my team. I also signed off on all English copy to go out of Bitopi. Aside from general duties, specific brands and tasks that I worked with more than others are:

Wrote most of the English copy for the India/Bangladesh/Nepal launch

Consumer promo press and tv work, worked on the strategic and creative direction for the 2008-9 campaign.

Worked on the iconic “Victory” theme ad for 16 December 2007

Strategic and creative direction for the 2008-9 campaign, press copy, TVC.

Strategic and creative direction for the overall brand and its 2008-9 campaign, wrote direct mail and press copy.

Creative direction for brand communication, co-designed the website, wrote direct mail and press ad copy.
March-October 2007: Associate Creative Director, Adcomm/Lowe
I was in charge of the following brands: Mojo (cola drink), Lemu (lemon drink), and handled the launch of Clemon (clear lemon drink), and the Unilever brands Close-Up, Pepsodent, Fair & Lovely and All Clear. Unfortunately, I was taken ill with malaria and typhoid a few months into my job., had to come to the US for treatment, and resigned.
January 2006-March 2007: Program & Music Director, Radio Foorti
Radio Foorti was the first FM station in Bangladesh. I adapted the Top 40 radio format to suit the slow turnover of Bangladeshi music, ran phone-in and SMS campaigns, created stars, and everything else for the leading brand of a new medium.
