Cambodia Humanitarian Efforts
Since 2004, personally managed a program to bring computer education to rural villages in the Siem Reap province of northwestern Cambodia. After successfully piloting two villages, an agreement was established with a local computer school to subcontract the implementation and teaching efforts so multiple villages could be served simultaneously. Recent accomplishments include updated equipment, advanced subject matter (database concepts, Photoshop, etc.) and expansion to additional villages. In 2009, the first computer and training classes were established at Kesararam Primary School for administrators to begin working electronically. No PCs were in place for this 1,500 student institution, and almost all staff had no previous training.
